Fully Integrated “SPR” Assembly
At Wico, we specialize in innovative and efficient fastening solutions, including “In-Die” fastener and part-to-part assemblies. This advanced technology allows for the integration of fasteners directly within the stamping process, ensuring a seamless, cost-effective, and highly precise assembly. In addition to this, Wico also utilizes “SPR Rivet” technology, which provides a robust and reliable method for joining parts with superior strength and minimal stress on materials. Our ability to offer both In-Die and SPR Rivet assembly capabilities ensures that we meet the diverse needs of our clients, delivering high-quality, durable, and efficient solutions for even the most complex applications..

In-Die Assembly Solutions
Wico has designed and developed several “In-Die Assembly applications for various OEM Customers to provide the maximum value for stamped Parts.
- In-Die Assemblies optimize the press stroke, thereby reducing the cost to the end customer.
- Multiple stampings are shuttled into the Press under the ram, and strategically located to attach to the Part produced by the primary transfer and/or progressive tool.
- Mechanical attachments provide a finished assembly produced at efficient press speeds while reducing the labor costs associated with traditional "away from the Press" assembly cells.
- Wico's state-of-the-art AIDA Servo Presses can produce the full energy required to stamp and assembly high strength steels at any stage of the press stroke
